biography

A little bit about me: I fell in love with photography when I was seven. I "appropriated" my parents' new digital camera at a Mule Day's Rodeo in Wyoming. From there on, every chance I got, I would have the camera with me. I took it with me when I explored the farm I grew up on and the surrounding area. Upon entering those photos in the county fair, the top honors and first place awards I received, along with comments about my photos looking like postcards, just added fuel to the fire. My favorite subjects in school were arts and crafts. Being homeschooled allowed me to learn everything from sewing to woodworking. With the support of my parents, I expanded in all these endeavors, including participating in dance, rodeo, 4-H, and Job's Daughters. I completed two years of college art classes and independent studies in Film and Digital Photography, with more classes I want to take. I live in Texas, but I love traveling and exploring the outdoors while looking for God's hidden gems in nature. My dream is to continue exploring and learning, capturing God's natural beauty, and sharing creatively what the world has to offer with all of you.
